SERVICES & LIFESTYLE:
Holiday Socials:
It is so important for our residents to involve them for any events especially on holidays. Most of our residents love to participate and voluntarily involving themselves. Most of the holidays we celebrate together are “New Year’s Day”, “Chinese New Year’s Day”, “Valentine’s Day”, “Cinco de Mayo”, "4th of July", “Halloween”, “Thanksgiving” and “Christmas Day”. We are very fortunate to have support from the local and county offices with some gifts for our residents.
Monthly Dinner Socials:
On the first Sunday of each Month, our residents will choose a place where we celebrate together a monthly gathering with staff. This will be one their favorite activities to go out and enjoy meals with the staff.
Birthday Social:
To show importance, love and care for the residents and staff to their special day. To bring them a cake and to sing a “Happy Birthday” song and you can tell the happiness in their faces.

Medication Supervision:
Although our facility is not a Licensed Residential Care and not designed for residents who require personal care, we can remind them to take their medication(s) and not to administer or provide Assistance. This reminder may support the Residents to take their medications on time and follow-up with their Doctor’s appointment made by the assigned Case Manager or Social Worker.
Weekly Laundry Opportunity:
Our residents can do their laundry once a week as part of their privilege at home. Once they moved-in, they will be asked to pick a day for their laundry or Schedule based on Availability.
Involving Residents, Friends and Families:
King Phillip Independent Living is growing successfully and assist clients to be successful in an independent living setting. We always encourage our residents to participate with activities, chores, cleaning schedule and serving food to maintain their dignity and promote independence.
